The lockdown in Delhi imposed by the Delhi government has left the daily wage workforce vulnerable to huge financial distress. This lockdown is unprecedented and is getting extended week after week.
Our caddies are not able to generate the means necessary to sustain themselves and their families.
After personally speaking to a few of these caddies at the course I play at, I believe a small fundraiser can go a long way to help their families in these tough times.
My goal is to focus on the worst affected caddy families from Qutab Golf Club.
I, therefore, strongly urge you all in the golfing community & beyond to come forward and support this cause!
Let’s make sure that we are there with our caddy friends amidst this time of adversity.

Distribution:
I will be identifying 15 caddies (who are sole income earners in their family) and whose families are worst affected due to the lockdown!
We will therefore be giving out Rs 5000 virtually (Gpay, Paytm) to 15 families to cover rent and basic necessities!

I will be noting down their names along with their employment numbers from their caddy cards and sending it out to the fundraising platform & all the donors in order to ensure transparency!
