Hi,
My name is Debalina Roy and I am raising funds for my beloved daughter Biggie who met with an accident on 15th March 2022 and hence suffered a major injury in her hind leg thus resulting in Distal Femoral Fractures. My 11-month-old baby is the sweetest and bravest of the lot, she is the alpha of the gang and takes care of her entire pack including her two brothers and one sister. Not for once does she sit and is always on her toes prancing around, keeping the house lively. She loves all animals irrespective. She had to meet this fate as she tried to save some dogs in the locality and jumped from the 2nd-floor terrace. She fell to the ground, got up with blood oozing out, and still rushed to save the dog. We in our entire life have never seen such a brave little soul. Not for once did my baby cry through this immense pain, as if she faced every punch that life throws at them with courage, resilience, and immense strength, and we want to make sure that we do everything possible to get her back on her feet. My dog is my world and I would live several nightmares and travel to the end of the world if I had to for them and do it a thousand times over. The family is looking forward to raising Rs.100000 i.e required to pay for all the medical expenses that include emergency care, preoperative care, surgery, medicines, para vet, post-operative care, doctor flight expenses, reports, and physiotherapy and I would be grateful if you could help us with whatever you can (includes prayers).
We first took her to the State Veterinary Hospital in Kolkata where she was treated by Dr. Gopal Samanta under emergency care. Then her case was shifted under Dr. Krishanu Ghosh one of the best veterinary doctors in Kolkata who coordinated with Dr. Ayyappan Subburamanujam, the best veterinary Orthopedic surgeon in India and we had two options with us, either to go down to Chennai or get him here. Since he agreed upon coming down to Kolkata as it being the more feasible option the surgery has been scheduled for Saturday 19th March 2022.
Cost break up:
Medicine and IV fluids till now: 2320
Para vet charges for 20 days twice daily Pre and post-operative: 500*20=10000
Vet charges on the first day: 500
X-ray cost: 4250
Blood tests: 3920
Operation (surgery cost+ doctor fees)
:55000
Post-operative care (medicines, physiotherapy)= 35000
Biggie is turning 1 year old this April 8th, 2022 and you can help us help her stand on her feet this birthday.
