My name is Maitreyee Mukherjee.
I am here to ask you to help me bring my Bapi, Basak Kumar Mukherjee, our father back home. He has been diagnosed with a severe case of Covid Pneumonia and has been hospitalized since 2nd December 2020 in C.M.R.I, Kolkata. Unfortunately, the medical expenses for the treatment are pretty high.

He has been on two external supplies of oxygen (HFNO 60 plus 15 extra) since, and the doctors have informed us that his oxygen levels are well below the optimal requirement of  95%. The doctors are trying their best to help to stabilize his oxygen levels, but the medication for it is very high, in the range of 40,000 INR for one dosage.

So far we have covered an expense of 2.7 lacs - in these 3 days, for his treatment with the help of his medical insurance. The hospital charges for a day is 30,000 INR. He is expected to stay at the hospital for at least two weeks, which means towards the end of it, it could come around 7 lakhs.

We want to bring him back home - smiling and happy!
