    This fundraiser will benefit

    Ashish Vashisth

    from Jaipur, Rajasthan

My name is Vineet Vasistha and I have started this fund raiser for my brother.

My brother, Ashish Vasistha, Age 41 years, suffered breathlessness and had to be admitted to hospital. On admission, he was found to be suffering from COVID-19 infection.

Since then his condition started to deteriorate. He had to be shifted on Ventilator support and his lung infection worsened from HRCT score of 8/25 to 25/25, meaning his lungs are completely infected, in less than a week's time. He has been in this condition for more than one month now, with no signs of lungs recovery.

Now, on Doctors suggestion, we are shifting his current treatment from C.K Birla Hospitals RBH, Jaipur to KIMS Hospital Secunderabad (Hyderabad). As per the current estimate for lungs transplant and operative cost, the medical expenses will amount to approximately Rs 1.5 Crores, which includes recurring cost of Rs 2 lakh per day, as he has been shifted on ECMO procedure yesterday night, before bed to bed shifting process to KIMS hospital. Now he will continue on ECMO under KIMS hospital supervision, till the time transplant/recovery takes place. (The waiting time of transplant ranges from 30 days to 45 days). Post-operative cost will be further added to the current expense estimate.

Ashish (Ajju) has always been a caring and loving son, brother, husband and a father. He has a 9 years old child who awaits his return to the family. Doctors tell that Ashish is showing tremendous will power to overcome this ailment, now he needs your financial support along with your good wishes.

We have arranged Rs 50 Lakhs till now from our savings and assets and need Rs 1 Crore more to continue with this treatment.

Please come forward to support Ashish (Ajju).
