Ashika Vidya Bhawan, located in Mulchand Basti, Darya Ganj, Delhi, is a single classroom school managed by the Women and Child Care Organization. It has been doing an excellent job of providing low-cost education to underprivileged children. However, due to Covid-19, the parents have been unable to earn a sustainable amount of money and deposit their child’s fees. The Women and Child Care Organization is making numerous efforts to keep the school afloat, but they are finding it difficult to support it completely. Deeply moved by this, we, a group of students from India and US, have picked up this cause. In an attempt to help, we have started a fundraiser for this initiative. The collected funds will be transferred to the Women and Child Care Organization, which will utilize these to fulfill essential needs such as maintenance, supplies, other overheads, etc. These are tough times for Ashika Vidya Bhawan. We urge you to participate in this noble initiative up to the best of your capabilities and contribute any amount as deemed appropriate.
