This fundraiser hopes to raise INR 80,000 – these funds will help support the holistic education initiatives undertaken by the Prajna Foundation, and meet the costs of art supplies for children and young adults as part of the Collage Workshop Series undertaken in collaboration with the Patchwork Initiative.  

Based in New Delhi, India, the Prajna Foundation is a registered NGO that works towards poverty-alleviation targeted at the youth demographic from underserved backgrounds. Through multiple projects, focusing on education, empowerment, and well-rounded growth and development, the Foundation seeks to help slum-dwelling children and young adults escape the cycle of poverty.

This fundraiser is part of the ongoing collaboration between the Prajna Foundation and the Patchwork Initiative, founded by Nandini Sharma. We seek to promote arts education for children from underserved backgrounds, with particular emphasis on alternative artforms as a means of social, cultural, political, and personal expression.
