    This fundraiser will benefit

    Artisans

    from Noida, Uttar Pradesh

“The last time we saw light was when you held the beam of light”, Our artisan partners expressed how relieved they were amidst the lockdown, and guess what? YOU helped them and a dozen other lives through our 2020 fundraiser. And Om, a Gond artist who we closely worked with, YOU helped him and his wife when they were nine months pregnant and out of funds. Stories we will always cherish and be grateful for. But the times are as grim in 2021.

OUR INDIAN ARTISANS NEED YOUR SUPPORT MORE THAN EVER
In the light of the second wave of the pandemic, our partner artisans have been fighting all odds for survival daily. The emerging market of handicrafts abroad and at home have been drastically affected and our artisans struggle more than ever in these unfortunate times due to lack of work and no income, and hence we reach out to you on their behalf. You are just one step away from being a changemaker!

WHAT CAN YOU DO
A sum of Rs 3500 will help an artisan family with a month of ration and necessary medicines and we look forward to sustaining them with necessities for the forthcoming critical year. They would love to reciprocate your contribution in kind but they face a financial crunch and are unable to afford basic food demands, medicines and treatments, education, rents, sanitary products and raw material for production. Your act of humanity, however small or generous, matters the most!

AS A THANK YOU, FROM US
We would be grateful and would like to share our Gond Art Worksheets (For everyone, wherever you are.) and a discount coupon (in India) on our hand crafted artisan made products till the end of June (will be shared via email).

DONATE & SPREAD THE WORD,
WE KNOW YOU CARE.
We know you care for your not-so-privileged brothers and sisters who only have their craft as inheritance. Each contribution will help to make things better for our Indian artisan families.  Though we might be the drops in the ocean, we at The India Craft Project along with other conscious individuals and organisations hold hands together to support our artisan community to create a ripple effect. We humbly request you to join us in the initiative.
