Life of Anjali Bharti, a very bright student from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (2008-13 batch) currently studying in IIM-Lucknow, comes from a very modest background, got struck by major news, when she got diagnosed with CML AP (Leukemia Aggressive phase) in November 2022. At the time of diagnosis blasts(Leukemia cells) were at 15%. She has been undergoing treatment since then at Mahaveer Cancer Sansthan, Patna while also continuing her studies.
However, in May 2023, the blast crisis percentage reached 35% and she has been admitted to Medanta, Patna. Doctors have advised immediate Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT). Now, She has been referred to TMH Mumbai for BMT and the treatment will cost around 25-35 lakhs.
Her mother is a single parent. Her family and friends are doing their best to support her.
