35 Year old Anindya Biswas (DBPC 02),  (NIT Dgp 2006 batch Metallurgy) & (IIM Calcutta PGPEX VLM Batch 6) is suffering from Acute Myeloid Leukemia and needs urgent Bone Marrow Transplant. He was going through chemotherapy for the last nine months which cost him about Rs. 45 lacs. He has already spent all his life savings and insurance. Unfortunately, after 2 months of remission, cancer has re-emerged and is much more aggressive. He would be put on a Chemotherapy (FLAG) which is 5 times more toxic and then subsequently be prepped for Allogenic Bone Marrow Stemcell Transplant.

Currently, he is admitted in Apollo Cancer Institute, Hyderabad. Below are some of the medical reports. Discharge Summary from his first of 5 cycles of chemotherapy and the latest bone marrow analysis indicating a relapse. We are also trying to get a statement from the treating doctor. The expenses would be at least Rs 40 to 45 lakhs i.e. excluding any exigencies whatsoever. He needs our help on this.

Anindya is fighting hard to reunite with his family, especially his 1.75-year-old son and his wife Sudeshna (NIT Dgp 2006 batch Chemical). Please let's try to help him out financially and with our prayers.
