All Creatures Great and Small (ACGS), is an animal sanctuary and a non-profit organization driven by the mission to maintain a gentle, nurturing, loving, and compassionate sanctuary for old, sick, abandoned, and lonely animals. At ACGS, we believe every animal that comes through our gates has the right to a life without fear and exploitation and is worthy of quality care, good nutrition, medical attention, and love.

Currently, ACGS is home to 400+ dogs, 9 pigs, 250+ cats, 12 horses, 17 donkeys, 6 sheep, 17 goats, 50 cattle, 3 buffaloes, 12 emus, 21 ducks, 12 rabbits, 7 guinea pigs, 5 nilgais, 2 crows, 21 hens, 36 birds, 3 monkeys, 2 owls, many fish, and still counting...

Our work extends to rescues, providing quality medical (including surgeries to resident and non-resident animals) and nutritional care, seeking redressal for cruelty, running adoption programs as well as an open sanctuary for visitors, local villagers, and volunteers. The projects we undertake aim at fostering a safe and secure environment for animals and humans to peacefully coexist. This involves educating people in animal husbandry and farming practices, helping people to overcome their fear of animals, advocating animal rights and more recently, generating advocates in the community to destigmatize animals as vectors of a human virus.

Unfortunately, the animals at ACGS are no strangers to the concept of cruelty and abuse. A majority of them come from incidents of neglect, abuse and torture. They have been subject to an atrocious level of mistreatment without cause. We need to ask ourselves – Why is it so difficult for us to peacefully coexist? Why must we inflict harm upon a voiceless, harmless creature, leaving them with painful and traumatic memories? What can we do for them?

To those who read this, we urge you, help us in serving our mission where we give these wondrous creatures their own voice and work towards their well-being and flourishing. Through this endeavour, we are seeking to raise 20 lakhs to adequately fund 2-months-worth essentials that includes nutrition, medicines, vaccines, infrastructure to successfully run a shelter with such a wide expanse of animals.
