DONATE TO SAVE STRAY DOG LIVES!
Project Overview: AICU (Animal Intensive Care Unit) by Grade X Students
About Us:
* We are a group of Grade X students studying in Shiv Nadar School, Gurugram: Passionate about animal welfare
* Recognizing the challenges in caring for recovering strays, we've developed A.I.C.U (TM) - an innovative portable ICU bed for animals and we plan to donate it to thousands of shelters in India, for which we need your help!
Challenges:
* Animal caregiving for strays in Gurugram and Delhi/NCR is challenging due to limited facilities in vet hospitals and shelters.
* An estimated 800,000 strays in Delhi/NCR pose a care challenge for animal lovers.
* Existing ICU facilities in shelters are inadequate.
A.I.C.U Features:
* Fully equipped with vital elements: temperature sensor, heartbeat monitor.
* Solar-powered battery for heated bedding, ensuring comfort.
* Drip holder for IV fluid intake.
* Drain for urine management.
* Elevated food area for easy access.
* 24x7 camera feed through a specially developed app.
* An App for seamless integration of all these features.
Objective:
* Address the pain points in caregiving for recovering strays.
* Provide A.I.C.U beds to shelters for effective and comprehensive animal care.
Funding Needs:
