Since the pandemic hit one year ago, kids have been out of school for miscellaneous reasons but the central reason is Money. Parents lost their job and for that, they started involving their kids in other works which are snatching their childhood from them.
We are raising funds for the kids of Oxford English School located in Malwani, a slum in Mumbai. Life in this community is not as good as it should be so we can not expect parents to consider education as the priority. Despite challenging conditions in their life, they decided to put their kids in private schools with minimal fees, but the pandemic left them unable to manage that also. Exams are near but parents do not have money for fees. If they do not pay the fee their kids will lose out on a year of studies and you all know how it looks like to lose one year of Childhood.
Let's join our hand together, and donate something to:
1. Bring kids back to school by paying their fees
2. Give them stationaries to reconnect them to education
3. help them not lose one year of a precious childhood
GIVE THEM CHILDHOOD, BRING KIDS BACK TO SCHOOL.
Here is a calculation for how we will utilize the funds raised :
Number of students: 48, Fee per student per month: INR 350,
Fee pending from April 2020. So, Number of Months =12.
Amount Required = 48 students x 350 Rupees x 12 Months = INR 2,01,600
