My name is Pallab Samaddar and I am here to raise funds for my wife Anamika Samaddar who is 34 years old. We've been married for 10 years. We have a 8-year old daugther. We live with my aged parents in Kolkata.
A healthy lady otherwise, she suffered a heart attack in December 2020. She survived by the grace of God, but her heart was permanently damaged. In the last 9 months, she had to be admitted to hospitals in Kolkata 5 times. We visited Christian Medical College, Vellore two times, of which once she had to be hospitalized. Every place told us that a Heart Transplant is the only permanent option to save her.

Finally, she is now admitted for more than a month at Private Hospital, Bengaluru since 17 July 2021. For the last three weeks, she has been admitted to the ICU. On 18 August 2021, she has been put on a ventilator. She is suffering from serious cardiac, lung, and kidney problems. The doctors are trying their best and are still very hopeful to recover her kidneys
through biopsy and treatment, and then the heart through Dor's procedure (Left Ventricular Reconstructive Surgery).
Until 17 August 2021, the expenses run about Rs. 7,80,000 in NICS, Bangalore, which we need to pay soon to continue Anamika's treatment. In previous hospital visits for the last 7 months, we have spent 12 lacs for her treatment already, even after exhausting our medical insurance.
I and my wife have been working in a private organization as a junior staff before the mishap. We could not do our office for the last 9 months, and we are out of payroll. Our job future is uncertain. We have exhausted our savings. Our close relatives and friends helped as best as they could. In the next few days, we need at least Rs.12,00,000.00 more for further treatment of kidney and the Dor's surgery of the heart. We have uploaded a certificate issued by the NICS on Anamika's illness and the medical bill as it stands on 17 August 2021.
