Hello Everyone,

My name is Shashwata Chatterjee, and I am reaching out to you with an urgent plea for assistance. I have started this fundraiser on behalf of my brother, Mr. Abhijit Shaw, who is 36 years old. Abhijit is known for his hard work and dedication. Unfortunately, his life took a tragic turn when he was involved in a grievous road accident at Uluberia, Howrah.

The accident left Abhijit with severe injuries, particularly to his left leg, which has been critically damaged. The doctors have informed us that a debridement procedure(a procedure that involves removing dead or unhealthy tissue from a wound to help it heal) is urgently required, and they may need to amputate his leg up to the thigh to prevent further complications.

He is currently receiving treatment at CMRI Hospital in Kolkata, where his condition remains serious. This unexpected and devastating event has placed an immense emotional and financial strain on our family. The costs associated with his surgery, hospitalization, and ongoing medical care are overwhelming, and we are struggling to manage these expenses on our own.
