Why am I fundraising?

DREAM Run - "YOU Support. I Run. THEY Win" A run to add a smile on the face of 2 Special Children...

I shall be running the Bengaluru Marathon on 18 Oct 2015. During the course of the 21.09 kms run i.e. the Half Marathon, I will be raising funds for DREAM Foundation (an NGO I co-founded with my school friends). The funds so raised shall be entirely donated to JSS Sahana - A school for the Specially Abled children, Bengaluru. I have a target of sponsoring the education of 2 special children for the next academic year i.e 2016-17 which comes upto INR 25000/-. Join hands with me for this noble cause and make this DREAM a reality by adding a smile on the face of these special children who are indeed very special to our society.

OBJECTIVE BEHIND THE "DREAM RUN"

We, at DREAM Foundation strongly believe that the specially abled children must be imparted with proper education and get the attention that they deserve. There are many parents of these children who aren’t in a position to educate them and provide them with the facilities they require. Hence there is a need to address this issue which is why educating the Differently Abled kids remains one of our major initiatives.

What do I plan to do with the funds?

The funds so raised shall be ENTIRELY donated to JSS Sahana School for the Specially Abled and the acknowledgement letter for the same shall be sent to all the donors. We will ensure that the entire process is transparent.

FAQs

1. The annual fees is Rs 25000/- but the target set is Rs 27000/- Why?

The increase in Rs 2000/- is the Transaction charges of 5% and and additional charge of 3% towards payment gateway fees. As a result, Rs 2000/- out of Rs 27000/- will be towards these charges and the Net Amount raised i.e. Rs 25000/- will be going towards the Education Fees.
