Ravneet is deaf with profound hearing loss on both ears. Despite her deafness, she has always been a passionate person with a constant enthusiasm to learn. With this undying enthusiasm, supplemented by her determination, she has been able to achieve many personal milestones in her life. She has now arrived at a juncture where another one of her dreams could come true: her childhood dream to be a part of an international deaf youth camp, where she could meet deaf people from different parts of the world, learn their language, culture, improve her confidence and leadership skills. This dream has come in the shape of the World Federation of the Deaf Youth Section (WFDYS) Youth Camp which will be held in France from July 14-20, 2019, wherein close to 150 deaf youths from 44 different countries around the world would participate in.
