My son Sri Sourik Chatterjee (44 years) has fallen critically ill, suffering from Bilateral Pneumonia and Pneumothorax. He is under treatment in the Ramkrishna Mission Seva Pratisthan, Kolkata and fails to do without the support of a ventilator.
The doctors have told me that his recovery will involve an extended period of ventilator support. Thus, the treatment demands expenses far beyond my meager financial capacity.
I am a widow and am utterly at a loss to sustain the heavy expenses of the treatment of my only issue. Indeed I have managed to meet the expenses over the last fortnight, thanks to the generous help and support of my friends and well-wishers.
This is why I have no options but to appeal to kind-hearted members of the public for their generous help.
