Hi, I am Anjana Mohapatra. I am raising this fund for seeking monetary assistance for my younger brother Ramnarayan Mohapatra, who has been battling with Covid-19 since 04-June-2021 and was admitted to AMRI Hospital, Bhubaneswar on 07-June-21 when he was facing difficulty in breathing and coughing continuously. His HRCT chest report score was 16.

A week before, he was diagnosed with pneumothorax (a hole in the right lung) and was put on tube ventilation. He has been in ventilation to date (10-Jul-21) with no improvement in his condition. Since his lungs are severely damaged, he requires a treatment through ECMO that costs 2.5 lacs/day. Also, the equipment is not available in Bhubaneswar so after consultation with doctors we have identified the treatment to be carried in Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad. Since he is currently unstable, we will have to airlift him from Bhubaneswar to Hyderabad that costs 23 lacs.

The ECMO treatment is very costly and we have exhausted all the insurance and financial resources. So, we are using this platform to raise fund for his treatment.
