It is about the serious illness of my younger son, Shuvam Dutta, who was admitted in SSKM Hospital for a period of 18 days but ultimately the doctors couldn’t diagnosis the disease and referred his treatment to be continued in Vellore.

 After several days of treatment, it was recognised by the doctors that it is a rare disease named ' HLH & STEVENSON JOHNSON'  SYNDROME (disease). 

The treatment he is undergoing is very expensive and it is becoming not possible for me to bear such huge expenses anymore. Starting from his injections which are rated ₹ 15,000 each and his per day expenses in the ICU in which he was more than a period of 10 days are resulting in exaggeration not for me, but my family itself. 

His medicines are supplied from abroad as they aren’t available here and I’ve tried my best to bear up with the expenses. But now, I am totally financially broken and would like to request you to help to get back my child, both mentally and physically fit.

 I would request you to stay by his side during this harsh time and this consideration would really help our child to overcome the challenges he is coming across since a very long time. As per previous cases of this rare disease and the doctor's statement, it might take 6 months more for his complete cure. 

Any documents related to him will be provided by me from Vellore itself. 

We all are now residing at Vellore unless his treatment process is entirely completed and the doctors find it safe to send him back home. 

Amount approximate expenses for treatment is 10 lakhs or more including regular bed charge and medications. Any amount possible by you to consider would be very helpful for our current condition.
