This week is celebrated as ‘Daan Utsav’ as per Indian tradition every year. A period when people come together to perform collective acts of kindness by giving their time, material or money to support a cause of their choice.
To observe this auspicious time period, we at Aambra Foundation are excited to announce an online dance competition “Social Dis-Dancing- your chance to dance for a cause”.
Here's your chance to support a noble cause and make a difference while dancing.
This event is being organised to raise funds for our SheSpeaks- Sashakta Helpline. Your generosity makes a huge difference, as it helps in ensuring that someone is available to answer the most important call of a victim’s life.
Hence, in order to participate, you would have to make a donation of minimum amount Rs. 100/-. After you make this donation, you can register by filling the form below-

RULES FOR THE COMPETITION
In fact, our Impact Partner on Milaap will be providing a matching grant on each donation made by 5% during this auspicious period.
To further help us increase our outreach, you can also nominate your friends and family and share our poster on your social media platforms, this however is not mandatory. If you like, you can also share your dance videos on your social media with the hashtag “#socialdisdance” and tag our official pages in your post.
Winners will be announced on all of our social media platforms and all participants will be provided with e-certificates.
FINAL POINTS TO BE NOTED:
•Make a minimum donation of Rs.100/- to the online fundraiser link given in the description.
•Maximum 2 entries per participant will be accepted.
•Send your entry/entries along with the screenshot of the payment to the given link.
•Clubbing your entries with other contests will not be accepted.
•Share only original dance videos (No Tik Tok/ Reels will be accepted).
•Your entries will be judged by prominent experts in this field, based on – “choreography (technique & execution) + expressions + overall impact”
•The contest starts from 5/10/2020 and entries will be accepted till Saturday ,10th October 11:55 pm.

- Participants must be minimum 10 years of age
- Duration of the performance- 1:00 to 1:15 minutes
- Video must be shot in a single take
- All dance forms are accepted
- Song lyrics must not be offensive or distasteful
