In July 2017, 52-year-old Shahnaj suddenly became extremely sick. Her throat closed up and she started shivering violently. After running multiple tests she was diagnosed with a type of blood cancer called Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
"My wife is struggling every day and I cannot do anything to ease her pain and have to remain a helpless spectator", says Shahnaj's husband, Aslam Khan.
The only treatment for her now is chemotherapy amounting upto 10 lakh Rs.
Family of Humble Means
Unfortunately, Shahnaj or her family does not have the funds for this treatment and needs our help.
"I am a labourer in West Bengal and earn Rs 50 per kilogram I lift. With this income we have managed so far. But now, because of Shanaj's illness, we mortgaged all our daughter's jewellery we gave them on their wedding. Now we have nothing left to even sell off."
Your contribution can help Shahnaj get the treatment she deserves
