Why did we start?
Despite Govt. education being practically free of cost, many children did not take the first step towards the school. The enrolment of children into the schools looms as one of the biggest challenges faced by the school authorities, simply because children did not have the very basic school supplies and their mostly impoverished livelihood couldn’t afford to buy the materials required for school.
Youth for Seva started the School Kit Drive program. With the help of contributions from our donors, we provide children with basic schooling requirements.
What does the School Kit contain?
The School Kit contains a school bag, set of notebooks,geometry box and other optional stationary items.
How much does a School Kit cost?
A School Kit can be sponsored for as low as Rs.400!
What has been the impact so far?
In 2015 alone, more than 30,000 children benefitted from the SCHOOL KIT DRIVE. A direct result of you contributors, having facilitated time and effort in coordinating the campaigns for the drive.
