152 poor children have died in Muzzafarpur,Bihar because of AES(acute encephalitis syndrome) catastrophe since June 1. They belong to very poor family,who are not educated enough to understand cause,prevention or necessary treatment.
   Unfortunately Bihar or Central Govt. is not doing much in-spite of media reporting on pathetic medical facilities in affected area. Only 2 hospitals are admitting patients but don't have enough beds or doctors for 500+ AES patients. So multiple children patient needs to share same bed & their family are living on hospital floors.
In these dark clouds, I found an NGO "Kaushalya Foundation" working on grounds with volunteers to educate people on Cause,prevention & immediate first aid. They are distributing thermometer, ORS,medicines etc by visiting affected villages.
    Lets save some innocent life by helping them to reach out more family with whatever small contribution you can make.
