All of us are focussed on building a better future but sometimes we have to go thru some more immediate challenges god has planned for us. Some of these even put our survival into question.
One of our 8th grade student Raghav has been diagnosed with blood cancer and is currently getting treated in PGI Chandigarh.
As anyone of you who have had seen a loved going thru battle with this disease you would know that it is not the just the patient but the whole family who has to go thru the ordeal and suffering. It is even harder for a family with meager resources.
Raghav needs to stay back in Chandigrah over as he needs to come back regularly for treatment for next 6 months. He is staying with his mother and father in a Dharamshala near PGI. Treatment is free in PGI but they will need to pay for medicines which are expected to cost around 3 lac Rupees (USD5K) for the first phase of 6 months. They will need to go back periodically for next 2 years after that.
Raghav's dad Rakesh Sethi works at Kirana shop near Multani Gate in Ferozepur. His mother Jyoti is a stay at home mother. He has a younger brother who is currently staying back with his uncle in Ferozepur.
Please keep Raghav in your thoughts and prayers and help this family out in time of crises.
