Paawan, son of a helpless father and a hopeful mother, is battling for his life. You can help him celebrate his 4th birthday.
Paawan Karthik, a 3 year old baby boy, is suffering from Agammaglobulinemia , which is a life threatening genetic disorder . The doctor who is taking up his case had asked him to undergo allogenic peripheral blood stem cell transplant (PBSCT), Bone Marrow Transplant in plain English.
The surgery alone would cost Rs 14,00,000/- not to mention the cost of hospitalisation and medicines which would be another 5,00,000.
Paawan's family had given up on him after two years of treatment at various hospitals in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. They cannot afford it anymore. But Paawan's mother, Venkata Lakshmi, is putting in everything to save her son's life. She is also the bone marrow donor.
Paawan's father is physically handicapped (deaf) and cannot do much to support his child's cause.
I am moved by Venkata Lakshmi's resolve to save her child at any cost. Please help this mother save her son.
