My brother and I started Tandav when we understood Dance is still a taboo in various communities. All what we had was support from people and we did India's first community driven dance festival Tandav in 2014. Tandav is the only dance festival in India where people who cannot see, hear or speak learn and perform various dance forms.
Tandav's third edition - RudraTandav will cater to kids from children homes, persons with Hearing impairment, persons with vision impairment, persons with cerebral palsy, wheelchair and calliper users, Persons with autism, students from various colleges, experts from disability sector and corporate employees.
Till last year we hosted our festival under Vivekananda Metro station but this year community dreams of a better venue with green lawn and we need your support for that.
This is year we are also launching a speaker/headset which utilizes the rhythm of the song to be conveyed to the person through his skin.
The Funds raised will be used for
Venue Setup
Stage and Sound
Accessible transportation for participants
Food for Kids from children homes (Breakfast and Lunch)
Goodies for all the kids (School bags, geometry boxes etc)
Certificates for all participants
Posters. Banners and other print materials
