Do You Know that Over 33 lakh children in India are malnourished and more than half of them fall in the severely malnourished category with Maharashtra, Bihar and Gujarat topping the list, the Ministry of Women and Child Development has said in response to an RTI query.
Hey Hi everyone this is me Sumit Singh and student of management with interest in Social work working with NGO Hamari Pahchan and being the partner of the needed one.
The cause for which I am here, has a huge impact in the society. Yes I am talking about the Malnutrition. So as I said in starting that Over 33 lakh children in India are malnourished can you believe that? But sad truth it is verified data of only India. The total 33, 23,322 (33.23 lakh/3.3 million) is a compilation of data from 34 states and union territories, the ministry said in response to an RTI query by PTI. The numbers were registered on the Poshan tracker app developed last year as a governance tool for real-time monitoring of nutritional outcomes.
We know that children who are malnourished have a greater risk of infections, have less energy and perform less than their genetic potential in school. The management of malnutrition requires a holistic approach starting with adequate nutrition of pregnant and lactating ladies, exclusive breastfeeding for six months, focusing on appropriate weaning and balanced nutrition in the first few years of life.
So my knowing all these me can take a minor step for just removing this huge cause even government are working upon on it but as a pure soul we should too come forward and join Hands in Hands. So please continue this chain donate a bit and be some ones happiness.
