We often realize the value of key resources only when it is lost. Access to clean drinking water is a challenge today and in places like Pallavaram, water itself is a problem considering the low ground water level . Going through the history of Pallavaram and analyzing the land-use, we found that there were a large number of ponds and few water streams that fed them. Today, a majority of ponds are lost and all kinds of waste.

Our Trust started functioning since August 2015 and has undertaken many projects . Normally our projects are executed on Sundays only. But when occasion arises we do on other days also. During the December 2015 deluge, many areas in Chennai and outskirts submerged in water. Most affected areas being West Tambaram, Mudichur, Guindy, Ekattuthangal, West Saidapet, Jafferkhanpet, Nandanam and West Mambalam. We played a vital role in relocating the marooned people along with their belongings to places of safety. We provided food and drinking water till the situation improved. We also provided blankets and clothing to the affected people personally. We organised a free blood donation camp which was a grand success. We have made cash/cloth donations to orphanages at Trisulam and West Tambaram.
Our primary goal is to spread awareness to the people about cleanliness in public places and also do tree plantation to support green environment which in turn reduces the global warming that avoids uncontrollable climatic changes.
We will spread health awareness to the people often.
We will also strive hard to support the needy people during any kind of crisis situations.
Putheri Lake Restore work:
There is a small water body Putheri in between the Pallavaram Periya Eri and the Keelkatalai Eri. This water body is divided into north and south by the Pallavaram - Thoraipakkam radial road. Only the southern portion os cleaned in June 2017. There was also an article on this issue in the New Indian Express. The northern part was in a mess. Now PPSS (Pasumai Peruga Sutham Sei) friends have taken up cleaning and restoring the North side of Putheri (Near Vels University) For quite some time PPSS friends had done many activities which includes a vital pond restoring at Pallavaram. After almost 12 week's of manual cleaning, now machines has been introduced. Hoping to see a clean Lake in another 2 weeks. Looking forward for your participation and fund to this team.
