My name is Priyanjali Singh, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself as a volunteer for Hamari Pahchan NGO. Today, I'm here to support a crucial fundraiser that aims to break the silence and end the stigma surrounding menstruation.
As a passionate advocate for women's empowerment and menstrual health, I firmly believe that it's time to shatter the taboos and myths surrounding periods. Every girl and woman deserve access to safe, affordable, and dignified menstrual hygiene.
Our fundraiser, 'Menstruation: Break the Silence!' seeks to:
1. Provide menstrual hygiene kits to underprivileged girls.
2. Conduct workshops to educate communities about menstrual health.
3. Amplify voices to challenge societal norms and stigma.
Here's a comprehensive support fundraiser for Sukhad-Menstrual Hygiene:
Hamari Pahchan NGO is working to provide menstrual hygiene products and education to women and girls in Delhi. We are also working on a full-fledged project – ‘SUKHAD aims to provide every menstruator with access to safe and healthy periods. As a part of this project, we provide menstruators with menstrual kits (Sukhad kits), educate them regarding menstrual hygiene, and create awareness to dispel the taboo related to menstruation as well as teaching women and girls about menstrual health and hygiene.
This is also working to raise awareness about menstruation and break down the stigma surrounding it, so that women and girls can feel comfortable talking about their periods and seeking help when they need it.
