Padmalatha a 32 year old stay- at- home mother is on ventilator and needs your help.
A year and half back Padmalatha and i got married and it was a marriage made in heaven. November 5th of 2016, we had a baby girl who was hale and hearty. Soon she was discharged and everything was going well until she started to have severe pain in the stomach. She was immediately taken to a local hospital near her home and was admitted in the emergency ward.
Padmalatha- Before the incident
The doctors said her body had excess levels of water and needed to be operated on. She was later diagnosed with a hole in her heart and was adviced to go to a Cardiologist. But nothing happened and i went around shifting hospitals as i could not afford treatment at Global or BGS.
She was soon referred to Columbia Asia and Padmalatha was admitted on 5th of December, 2016. After various tests they found a tumor in the stomach. An operation was performed and it was successful. This removed the stomach infection and she was kept on monitoring in ICU ward.
A week later She soon started to have breathing problems and her heart started to pump very fast. She was put on mini ventilator. The doctors have put her on a medicine called Melrius and she has started to respond better to it.
After a few days on Melrius, the doctors decided to see what her condition is if she is taken off the medicine. It was not a pleasant sight. The pressure on her lungs increased dramatically and she went into a unconscious state.
Padmalatha is currently on the Medicine and is on ventilator support. She needs to be on life support till the pressure in her lungs stabilizes. The hospital has estimated the treatment to be around 13 Lakhs but crossed 15 lakhs now, i have paid around 5.8Lakh from my savings and arranging from other source.
My earning is around 18,000k per month. I have now completely exhausted my means through which i can save my wife and have turned to you for your help.
