We are group of farmers  from Maranagere village Tiptur taluk.

Since many years our lake has not got sufficient water because of draught  As a result borewells are dried and now we are digging above 1000 ft and  chance of getting water even after boring above 1000 feet is very less. Then started drinking water problem. our coconut farms are completely hit by draught. As a result we were searching for ways to fill water.
One Water channel is running  at a distance of 6 kilometers. Hence its planned to lift the water from that point and pump to our lake. The project got finalized to the cost of 53,00,000 Rs.  We started raising funds from farmers and outside donors, We are able to cater 36,00,000 Rs and fell  shortage of 17,00,000 Rs. Now the project is 70 % complete.  Request to please donate generously .
