Namaskar!
I am Manya Giri Nishad; a student of Grade 10, Kothari International School. I am a part of a Community Outreach Programme hosted by the Hamari Pahchan NGO.
The prospect of helping people, of touching lives and changing them for the better, has always piqued my interest.
I am working on raising funds for the SUKHAD Project with the Hamari Pahchan NGO, an incredibly benevolent and thoughtful movement encompassing not only helping the underprivileged by providing them with sanitary items, but also educating them about menstrual hygiene. But they go far beyond mere education and provisions- it helps them lead better, more empowered lives. It thus includes helping women with their menstrual needs, and also incorporates them into Skill Development Programs.
The project also has weekly drives to distribute “Sukhad kits” including various sanitary products. Each kit costs Rs 1,400/- with 24 packets of sanitary pads, 6 packets of soap, disposable paper envelopes.
Every rupee counts, and goes to help a noble cause. I bequest you to donate as much or as little as you can, every donation makes a big difference.
Thank you! Find out more about the organization andmovement at www.hamaripahchan.org for a vast array of equally magnanimous projects.
