This is a campaign to contribute to the efforts of underprivileged children who are meritorious but poor to access quality education. Many students are held back because of reasons like lack of electricity supply in their homes, conveyance problems, timely food, health and nutrition, household work burden etc. Since 10th class is a turning point in one’s life where one can decide and choose one’s right path which leads towards success, Vandemataram Foundation has been assisting 10th class government school students of poor background from last 10 years. Vandemataram Foundation has been a pioneer in developing education in Telangana. Being awarded 'State's best NGO' in 2017 is a testimony. Since its inception in 2005, its efforts have been directed towards empowering underprivileged families through quality education.

Every year, Vandemataram foundation conducts an examination to select 450 merit but poor children, then provides with intensive coaching and strategic preparation for 45-50 days. We provide food, accommodation, tuition and guidance, above all, an environment free of all hurdles to focus on studies in our residential camp. Out of 421 students in 2018, 40 were admitted into IIITs, 114 got free polytechnic seats, 267 were offered free intermediate education. Eminent educationist Sri.Chukka Ramaiah garu is an ardent supporter of our efforts. He offers academic guidance in conducting the camp every year. Successful personalities like Vice chancellors of Osmania, Kakatiya universities, district collectors, SPs, DEOs, scientists, politicians etc. visit the camp regularly. Their presence motivates students towards all round development.

If one underprivileged student is supported in education, her whole family will develop. Your generous contribution can help a student during his crucial time of 10th class and lays foundation for his career. We welcome and appreciate contributions of any amount. Based on the previous camps, we have estimated the cost of sponsoring one child is INR 4000, which includes but not limited to food, study material and tuition charges. For those who sponsor for a child completely, we will provide details of that student and further their marks’ report and any other achievements details. Donation for this purpose will be exempted under Section 80G of IT act.
