Kasthuri and her husband Tamilselvan should have been rejoicing at the birth of their newborn girl but instead, their dream turned into a nightmare when they learnt that their baby girl was suffering from a severe heart disease called Ventricular septal defect.

VSD is a hole in the wall (septum) separating the ventricles of the heart. VSD is the most common type of heart malformation present at birth and can become life-threatening if not treated on an urgent basis.

Their baby needs to undergo an open heart surgery urgently. The total amount of this surgery is around 3 lakh Rs. Unfortunately, Tamilselvan is a driver and does not have the funds to afford the surgery. They need our help.
