Help 2 Rural Women Burn Survivors
Immediate help needed:
Pratima Kumari and daughter in law Gayatri Devi are fighting for their lives with severe burn injuries in Devkamal Hospital and Research Center, Bajra, Itki road, Ranchi 834005
How it happened: Naresh Mahto ji and his family traveled from Delhi to their village in Giridih Jharkhand for their daughter Pratima Kumari’s wedding. On 25th April, due to an local small-cylinder (not normal LPG) blast at his home, his 30 year old son Pawan Kumar died with severe burn on his way to hospital. The bride Pratima Kumari and daughter in law Gayatri Devi are fighting for their lives with severe burn injuries. Pictures attached.
Financial Condition of Family: Naresh ji works in a Socks factory in Delhi and earns Rs 15,000 a month.
Funds needed: We are aiming for at least 10 lakh INR which is approx US $15,750 ( amount depends on how soon Pratima and Gayatri are out of danger and how long they are to be kept under ICU)
Why: Considering the gravity of the situation and that they will recover faster in private hospital, we have to keep them there for at least 4 weeks. All funds will be used for:
- Everyday cost of Rs 15,000 for medicine, dressing, hospital bed, physiotherapy, testing, doctor visits, fooding, lodging etc
- If the ladies survive, they will need rehabilitation to carry on a normal life too.
- Last rituals of Pawan Kumar
- Feed the poor family of Naresh Kumar as he has no savings
Please skip your one-week restaurant with family or anything that you can avoid and HELP THIS POOR FAMILY in distress. Kindly be generous and donate/help with ANY amount you can.
