    Chancha Rao

    from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh

65-year-old Chancha residing in a village in Vijayawada was born with a physical handicap that made his leg very weak. Despite his handicap, Chancha worked as a book-keeper for a small store in his village just to earn money for this family. Two months back, Chancha began screaming in agony in the middle of the night and after being rushed to the hospital he was diagnosed with Chronic Infracts, a severe brain clot that reduces the blockage of oxygen and blood to the brain. Chancha has been suffering from severe headaches and breathlessness which has made him even weaker.

Chancha is living with his wife and two daughters who are now taking care of him. He has been unable to go to work and has been put on medication to control the pain. However, in order to completely treat his condition doctors have advised immediate treatment (MRI & ECG).

Chancha's treatment costs close to 1 Lakh INR (20,000 INR for ECG+MRI & 7,500 INR every month for the next 12 months)

Unfortunately, with a monthly family income of 7000 INR, Chancha's family don't have the funds required to pay for his treatment.  At his old age, Chancha cannot afford to wait any longer before he gets treated. His daughters have tried everything they can to raise funds for his medication so far by turning to friends and family and now need our help for his treatment.
