Story
Hi My name is Ankita Singh. I belong from a Mumbai and currently living in Pune. I am working as senior consultant in Capgemini India.
Even though Indians are developing, going digital but I daily see posts on facebook about stop buying from shopping Malls and start buying from small vendors and many more like this, I would share my personal experience why I buy from shopping malls and not from small vendors.
It has been more than 4 months for De-monetization of 500 Rs and 1000 Rs currency but still we are struggling to get cash and in this situation only option left with us to go for shopping to places where they accept digital money.
Even though we are moving more towards technology and being digital but there are still more than millions of small vendors in villages who are struggling to earn as they do not even know how to use a smart phone or how to accept digital payment. Moreover there are many who do not even have a bank account to accept digital payment.
I am taking this initiative to make a team of youngsters who would help and teach small vendors in villages and rural areas to be able to do below tasks:-
1- Open a bank account
2- Gift a smart phone (Old as donation | New in case we can raise enough funds)
3-Teach use of Digital Payments (Paytm, Airtel Money, Direct Transfer etc)
The team would be lead by Shailendra Kushwaha one of my friend from Kolkata.
Those who are interested to join the team and have some idea to make this project better may drop an email to shailendra.k@live.com
Please help us raise the fund as much as you can. !
