Patients that come to our institution in Trivandrum are a few of the many in India who may be facing terrible pain and distress due to diseases such as cancer, paralysis or other debilitating conditions. Palliative care aims to treat the symptoms and also provide emotional, social and spiritual support.  No one should be left to suffer without support and proper medical care.  

Pallium India is working to establish and provide palliative care to people throughout India, allowing them to live with dignity and supporting those that care for them.

Our building in Trivandrum is home to a hospice, where patients with suffering that cannot be managed at home or those approaching the end of their lives can come for care and support.  It also houses patients undergoing rehabilitation from spinal cord injuries, patients that have lost the ability to walk or use their arms.  Here they can stay, have physiotherapy and learn new skills to help them change their lives.  We also have an out-patient department to see the many people living in the community with long term problems.

We are asking YOU to kindly donate to help us buy the paint and materials much needed to re-decorate our facilities and brighten up the days for all our patients. This will make a huge difference to the wellbeing of all our patients and make our staff happy to work in a colourful place.
