I am Ruchir Rai writing on behalf of Updash Kumar, a daily wage worker. His daughter Muskan is 13-14 years of age suffering from Craniovertebral Junction Pott’s Spine with Myelopathy which is at a critical stage. When she was a toddler she had fallen down from a height injuring her neck.

For past long time she was continuously complaining headache, neck pain, stomach ache and numbness in spine and legs. Things got worse in past one year when large abscesses / sores (filled with pus) started developing on her neck and later on legs. She keeps crying in pain most of the time. Quite a few hospitals have been visited for her treatment. As per the doctor her condition is very serious and she is losing life day by day. 

A surgery is required at the very earliest which has an estimated cost of Rs. 300,000/- (three lacs) from the doctor of a govt. Hospital, “Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences”.

For past few months this person is running places to arrange for money but failing. He earns hardly Rs. 400 a day as fixed wage and has already taken lot of loan for her daughter’s treatment. He had applied for some funds from Chief Minister’s Relief fund but sanctions will take time and it will be too late for his daughter.
