Mr. Jayanna, aged 43, met with a severe road accident in May 2018 and suffered multiple fractures and injuries in his skull and ribs.
Jayanna is the only bread winner in his family staying in Hassan district in India. He has a daughter (3 years) and a son (6 years). His wife is uneducated and a full time housewife. She has left her home and kids in Hassan to take care of Jayanna full time. Jayanna is undergoing treatment in Bangalore.
Medical diagnosis - injuries and fracture to his right parietal and squamous temporal bone with fracture line extending to right petrious and superior wall of sphenoid sinus and single point fracture in the ribs.
Treatment - Jayanna has undergone a surgery for the skull injuries. A part of his skull has been removed and kept in his abdomen for the recovery of the injured parts. The second surgery is required to put that part of the skull in the correct position in the head.
Jayanna requires constant neuro treatment. They are unable to get next treatment and surgery because of lack of money. Delay in this surgery will lead to the skull dissolving in the stomach. This will leave Jayanna impaired lifelong.
Jayanna's wife's elder brother has been trying to help financially so far. However they are not able to manage the expenses anymore. In between, there was another sad death in the family (Jayanna's wife's younger brother, died on the spot in a road accident). This has broken the family completely.
They have huge amount due to be paid to the hospitals and rehabilitation centers for continuing the treatment.
The family is under major financial and emotional crisis and is looking for your support to save Jayanna.
