I am a Teach For India fellow, teaching in a small school in rural Bangalore. I teach 30 children at Sri Vidya Nikethan School in Medahalli. I have 30 children in my class. 

One of my student, Imran; I noticed was struggling to cope up with studies. Imran tries very hard to learn but he just could not. He cant write properly and keeps mixing up numbers and letters. It took me two months to realize he was was probably dyslexic.

His father, a street food seller, is exhausted with paying school fees and Imran not learning. The news of dyslexia has hit him hard. He is thinking of removing Imran from school.

I am trying to help this family by getting a counselor for Imran who will come thrice a week for five months till April end. The money raised will be used for getting extra learning aids for Imran and as fees for a counselor.
