Due to my condition, I have limited physical ability to go to work. Additionally, as hospital visits are very frequent (once every 15 days or even more), keeping a job has been difficult. I suffer from constant weakness and feel frustrated due to my inability to work and be independent. 

Doctors have told me that Kaposi Sarcoma is not curable till now but with HIV treatment, chemotherapy, cancer medicines and nutrition, I can live a healthy life for several years. 

I am in need of your support and need your help to raise funds so that I am able to continue my treatment. I am able to access HIV drugs free of cost from the public hospital and my viral load is undetectable. But the Indian government does not provide free access to cancer drugs. For example, each dose of Doxorubicin 20 mg costs me INR. 4000, and each round of chemotherapy, which includes drugs like Paclitaxel, cost nearly INR. 9000. In addition, I need to pay for my frequent diagnostic tests, increasing number of visits to the hospital and my daily living expenses. 

“Because I am gay and face discrimination I have no care and support from my family. Till now the Delhi Network of Positive People (a PLHIV network which seeks to improve the treatment and facilities for people living with HIV/AIDS) has supported my treatment but I am now running out of funds as they have limited resources for cancer treatment. I need your help urgently for staying alive”.
