We, Rachna & Vikram, are seeking your kind support in raising funds for the medical treatment of Divya (our maid's daughter)from Bangalore, India. Raji, a part-time domestic helper in Bangalore, India (we personally know her as she works at my mother's place) is a single mother of 3 daughters. Her husband passed away a few years ago and she is the sole breadwinner ever since and has been working very hard to make ends meet and support her family. A couple of weeks ago, Divya (her 2nd daughter) contracted Dengue and is now in a very critical condition. She was admitted to Manipal Hospital in Bangalore, India and the doctors say that she needs to undergo bone marrow surgery which will cost around 15 Lakh INR (30K USD approx.). For a lady earning a meagre 10 Thousand INR ($200.00 USD every month), this is proving to be a near impossible task. We are trying our best to help her in arranging these funds through various avenues and have been able to gather 2 Lakh INR (3K USD approx.) so far. Our intention is to gather as much as possible funds to pay for Divya's bone marrow transplant and bring the smile back on her face.
