Sai Seva trust is an umbrella organization comprising of Swami Vivekananda Orphanage (100 kids – provides shelter, food and education to the orphan kids), Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Old age home (20 people) and Sai Spandana Digi school (350 students - an affordable school for the nearby slum area children). What is the problem?
The trust members and the generous donors donate money every month for the operations of the trust. Despite these efforts the shortfall compels the trust to cut costs, mainly by reducing the provision of extra facilities to the children residing in the trust. Let me share stories of two children who suffered the consequences of the cost cuttings.
Pavithra is a child of a single parent and was admitted to the trust by her paternal uncle. She is the only one in her class without a school uniform. When delved into details she said, "The uniform that was previously given by the school was torn a year ago and I didn't get a new one after that."
Sanghavi is an abandoned child who was admitted to the trust by Child Welfare Committee (CWC) at the age of 5. She goes every day to the school barefooted. She said, "I sometimes feel demotivated to go to school because all my friends wear shoes and I don't have one."
There are many other students like Pavithra and Sanghavi who need your support.
What you can do?

Donate for children - school uniform, shoes and bags before their academic year starts. These basic requirements will help them to lead a life on par with other kids.
The split-up costs for each kid are given below:
