In the next 2 to 3 weeks expected cost of ICU and NICU is amounting to Rs. 1,60,000/-
Family has gathered close to Rs. 60000/-. However for the treatment to continue this is not enough.

Dear Supporters,
The baby of Shumi was discharged from the hospital yesterday. The baby will be on medication to avoid seizures and the doctors have suggested regular check-ups in coming months. The earlier said genetic disorder will not hamper growth as such but may have long-term symptoms of slow brain development, learning disabilities etc. Currently, the baby is doing well.
Mrs Shumi is improving slowly. She is still paralytic on the right side of the body. She is being treated in Physical Therapy ward. It's not very clear, as to how long she has to stay in the hospital. She has shown progress but still, it is a long way to go.
Heartfelt thanks to all the donors. Total amount paid towards medical expenses mostly through NEFT transactions so far is Rs. 70000. I've all the supporting receipts and transaction details.
I'll also be helping the family with some baby food supplies and medicine cost with the rest of the balance amount. Social Workers at St. Johns, have also helped the family by waiving of almost 25% of bill amount.

Dear Supporters,
Mrs. Shumi is still in MICU. She is out of danger but still not recovered. She needs intensive therapy. She has paralysis on right side of the body and total speech loss. She probably is able to recognize few family members but its too early to say the extent of recovery.
Doctors suggest that we should shift her to ITU (Intensive therapy unit), however, as there is no vacancy in the ward. Currently, bill of 50,000/- is yet to be paid. We are trying all possible venues to raise funds for her treatment.
Shumi's baby is still in NICU. Baby has shown a little progress in terms of movements and other vital responses. However, still needs to be in NICU for another 10 days. The baby also needs CT and kidney scans for further investigations.
Thank you for all the overwhelming love and support. Would request you to please share this campaign further with your friends and family. Please do keep her in your prayers.
