Our son Master S. Rohith aged 15 years, diagonised life threatening diseases known as Primary Hyperoxaluria. Liver and kidney both organs should be transplant one by one within the period of 3 to 4 months. His mother is agreeing to donate the both organs, because of mother and son having same blood group. Earlier we have done the liver Transplant at 25th August 2017. After liver transplant mother and son livers are functioning well. So Doctors planned to do the next kidney transplant at starting of January 2018.
Unfortunately rohith suffered from pneumonia fever since 02/01/2018 also he is on regular hemo dialysis for CKD. Now he is admitted in Kovai Medical and centre hospital, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore for the same. Roihith’s hospital no is 1308371. Now he is in ICU ventilation unit with critical condition. His Lungs has infected very badly and he is on a non-invasive ventilator to maintain normal respiration. Due to he takes immunosuppressive therapy for the liver, Pneumocystis jirovecii virus activated and attacked his lungs easily. He couldn’t take breath without the support of non-invasive ventilator. Furthermore he is in complicated position. When he completely recovers from the pneumonia fever, kidney transplant will be taken.
Already we have spent lot of money for his medical treatment from since the liver transplant treatment and dialysis. The current treatment has totally destroyed our finance condition. The treatment cost is very high which we can’t manage the medical treatment cost. Now he is fighting and struggling for his life. We are mentally depressed and we couldn’t see his situation when we meet in ICU.
Because of Day by Day is condition is going to worst and Doctors giving the treatment for stable the medical treatment per day is around 30,000 Rupees. Up to now we spent 4, 00,000 rupees for this treatment, which we kept for post kidney transplant medical expenses. May be the treatment will be extend up to 2 to 3 weeks for recovery. Also we are paying around 20,000 rupees per month for liver transplants medical check up & follow ups and medicine cost. The kidney Transplant and the total cost of current therapy would come around 12 lakhs rupees which we can’t affordable. Now we don’t have funds for further treatment.
