    This fundraiser will benefit

    Remonjit Gogoi

    from North Lakhimpur, Assam

My brother always fixed everything for us. Whether it was money, studies, or just a bad day, Remonjit had a way of making it all feel okay. He made life feel safe.
Now, he’s lying in the ICU, barely conscious, and his mind is slipping faster than we can hold on.

I’m Donating My Liver, But We’re Out of Time

He would always put us first. So when his stomach bloated and his eyes turned yellow, we panicked and rushed to the hospital. After draining the excess fluid, the doctors ran tests that diagnosed him with end-stage liver failure.
They said the drainage wouldn't last long and that Remonjit needed a liver transplant that would cost 20 lakhs. I told the doctors I’d donate a part of my liver. He’s my hero. I’m willing to risk anything to save him.

But the news and costs feel like a bomb exploded in our faces. It's nearly been a month, and we have only 1 week left before his body becomes too weak to survive surgery.

Remonjit Spent His Life Helping Everyone, Now He Needs Help Sitting Up

Remonjit held our family together. He worked day as a social worker, supporting student welfare and fighting corruption. Just a few months ago, he distributed rations during the floods.
He didn’t earn much, but it was enough to keep us going. Now, he can’t even sit up. A painful tube drains the fluid from his swollen stomach.

Doctors say that without the transplant, his organs may fail or bleed from the fluid accumulation.

Our Parents Are Broken, and I’m Doing This Alone

For the past four years, our father has been paralyzed from a stroke and suffers from Parkinson’s disease. Our mother can’t walk due to severe orthopedic issues.
Remonjit took care of them and told me to focus on my education. Now, both parents are emotionally shattered. They can barely process what's happening.

I just graduated, and suddenly, the medical decisions, the finances, and the hope are all on me. It’s been only a month, and I already feel like I’m crumbling.

I Don't Know Where To Get This Much

We never had much to begin with. Remonjit was our pillar and would also pay our bills. Whatever little came from my father’s retirement fund has been spent on ICU bills, endless tests, and daily medications.
Relatives are helping with groceries, but that’s all we have. The ₹20 lakh needed for the transplant is completely beyond us, and I can't bear that he's lying in the hospital, crying in pain.

Life Is Incomplete Without Him, Please Help Us

He’s not just my brother. He’s the reason our family is still standing. Without him, we fall apart. I don’t even know if I can live without him.

Please, help me save Remonjit. Give him a chance to continue his dream of helping others
