Every year United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) along with Asia Pacific Youth Exchange organizes the Asia Pacific Youth Conference at Bangkok, Thailand. This year I have been selected as a delegate for the conference, passing the grueling rounds of multiple interviews for the selection.
The conference will host students and young entrepreneurs around the world and aims to engage youth in localized Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) by allowing us to work with stakeholders in local communities. The conference will prosper the leadership qualities, thus nurture me as a social entrepreneur.
But to attend the conference a barrier of $850 stand in my way, which I need to pay for my accommodation and logistics for the 14 days stay at Bangkok from 8 July 2017 to 20 July 2017.
As a 19-year-old student, this is my first step towards being an entrepreneur, and there is no doubt that the conference will provide me awesome learning experiences and great exposure.
