My name is Priyanka and I am here to fundraise for my neighbor, Pinki who has been diagnosed with Kidney failure. She is a 25 years old tribal woman belonging to the Bodo tribe.
From a very poor family from a remote village Paschim Satali in Alipurduar Dist, WB.
She has been in this condition for the past two years due to poverty and no money to get treated. The problem is that she till date hasn’t got proper treatment even to find out what is the problem or what are the health issues due to the financial crisis and living condition is BPL. But the recent report says that she has a problem with regard to her liver, Gallbladder, and kidney. Her skin from neck to toe is full of sores, her eyesight has also been affected. The expenses till today have been around Rs.50,000. But she needs treatment to fully recover. Which will cost around Rs.3,00,000. She was receiving treatment in a Government hospital, West Bengal.
