I am from Salem. We are a family of 6 people. Our background occupation is farming, as the fate of many farmers even I had to leave farming and drive lorry to support my family. My wife is a home maker. She also manages to earn a bit by tailoring and she takes care of the family.
One day my child was having fever, we did not have access to hospital as we reside in a village, we tried home remedies and somehow managed to reach a hospital. The doctor examined my child and gave medicines but he still continued to be sick. The doctor suggested a blood test which revealed cancer. We were devastated by the unexpected event. Life came to stand still. We were worried and helpless. The doctor referred us to VS Hospitals. We immediately without thinking of anything reached the hospital.  My son was admitted and medical care was given. I was relieved, but Iit did not last long. I shelled out all my income and saving for my child. My family began to suffer and my son could not attend school because he was sick. . I did not have an income as I had to stop work to take care of my child. I am doing part time driver work, but my income is not sufficient to meet his raising medical bills. I request kind hearted people to support us. Your kind gesture will save my child’s  life.
